QR code maker

A QR code for your website, menu, WhatsApp or Wi-Fi. Free, no expiry, no tracking.

Many QR sites make codes that stop working unless you pay. These are plain QR codes: they point straight at your link and never expire.

Why use it

  • Your code never expires and never redirects through anyone else.
  • Put it on flyers, packaging, menus, shop doors and business cards.
  • Wi-Fi codes let guests join without spelling out the password.

How it works

  1. Choose what the code should do: open a link, start a WhatsApp chat, call, email or join Wi-Fi.
  2. Fill in the details.
  3. Pick colours if you like. Keep good contrast.
  4. Download and test it with your phone camera before you print.

Good to know

  • QR codes were invented in 1994 by Denso Wave in Japan to track car parts on production lines.
  • A QR code can still scan with part of it damaged or covered, thanks to error correction built into it.

Questions

Will my QR code expire?

No. It contains your link directly. It works as long as the link it points to works.

Can I track scans?

Not with a plain code. To count scans, point the code at a link you can measure, such as a page with analytics or a link with campaign tags.

What size should I print it?

At least 2 to 3 cm across for something held in the hand. Bigger for posters read from a distance. Always test before printing many.

Please note

Provided free, as is, for general use. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Check that your document or figure meets the rules where you are before you rely on it. Test every code before you print or publish it.
