Letterhead maker

Your logo, colours and details at the top, your letter below. Download as a PDF.

A letterhead puts your name, logo and contact details on every letter you send. Set it up once, type your letter, and download a clean PDF that looks like it came from an established business.

Why use it

  • A proper letterhead makes even a one-person business look organised and trustworthy.
  • Banks, embassies, schools and landlords often expect letters on business letterhead.
  • Your details are saved on your device, so the next letter takes seconds.

How it works

  1. Add your business name, logo, colours and contact details.
  2. Fill in the date, reference and who the letter is going to.
  3. Type your letter, with an optional subject and greeting.
  4. Download the PDF, sign it and send.

Good to know

  • In the UK, a limited company must show its registered name, company number, place of registration and registered office address on its business letters. Check what applies where you are.
  • Write dates in full, such as 7 October 2026. In some countries 07/10 means July, in others it means October.

Questions

Can I use my own colours?

Yes. Pick your brand colours and the letterhead uses them for the header and accents.

Yours faithfully or yours sincerely?

In British usage, use "Yours faithfully" when you open with "Dear Sir or Madam", and "Yours sincerely" when you open with the person's name. You can change the closing before you download.

Can I print it on paper?

Yes. Download the PDF and print on plain A4 or Letter paper. The letterhead prints with the letter, so you do not need pre-printed stationery.

Is my information saved?

Only on your own device, so your letterhead is ready next time. Nothing you type, including your letter, is sent to us.
